Lucas Ihlein (born 1975) is an artist and academic whose practice spans protest art, squatting, artist collectives, and collaborations with major institutions. He studied Fine Arts in Perth and now lectures at the University of Wollongong. A recipient of numerous awards, including an Australia Council Fellowship, Ihlein documents his projects through blogs, installations, performance, video, prints, and drawings.
